Traci Miller serves as the Managing Director of Thomas Title & Escrow’s National Commercial Services platform.  Traci is a highly skilled Senior Commercial Escrow Officer with over 35 years experience closing single- and multi-site transactions in markets nationwide.  She has closed over $20 billion in commercial real estate transactions during her career.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Miller served as Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations for one of the largest title agents in Texas where she was responsible for cultivating and closing high liability, multi-site transactions for national and local clients. Additional professional experience includes Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, TICOR Land Title and Hexter/Fair Title (now wholly owned by First American Title Insurance Company).

Ms. Miller is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and served on the Careers Committee. She is a supporter of Dallas CASA and also serves on a Board of Directors for a private utility district created by and for Huffines Development.

Key Closings / Projects

  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the sale of partnership and real property of a 1,000 megawatt gas-fired power plant located in Texas. The total title insurance liability was $335 million.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the acquisition and development of the 2nd largest solar power plant in the United States, located in New Jersey. The total title insurance liability was $90 million.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the land acquisition and development of three 1,000 megawatt gas-fired power plants in the State of Texas with total title insurance liability $1.9 billion.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the land acquisition and development of a 1,200 megawatt gas-fired power plant in Virginia with total title insurance liability of $620 million.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the acquisition of land, development and subsequent sale of approximately 6,000 multi-family units.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of a multi-site hospital portfolio sale transaction following the closing of construction financing for sites included in the sale transaction. The total title insurance liability was over $100 million.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of a 120-site hotel portfolio, which included properties located in 38 states. The total title insurance liability was $1.4 billion.
  • Managed and coordinated the closing of the acquisition of land and subsequent development of two co-generation power plants in Arizona and Arkansas. The total project development costs were $2.75 billion with title insurance liability of $1.75 billion.
